NOTICE: TFRW is supporting HB 3903 by Rep. Cindy Burkett. This bill addresses the issue of judges and judicial candidates being about to use campaign funds to donate to GPACs (such as TFRW clubs). We urge you to contact your representatives and senators to support HB 3903!
Current Issues Resolutions Passed by the TFRW Board of Directors – As of April 7, 2017, four resolutions have been passed by the TFRW Board concerning current issues for the 85th Legislature. Three of these resolutions were brought forward by the Research and Current Issues Committee, chaired by Carolyn Hodges. The last was brought forward independently at the 2nd Quarterly board meeting in April. Each one of these is considered a priority issue for TFRW, and TFRW members are encouraged to advocate for these issues with their Texas legislators.
