TFRW January Board Meeting Service Project
January is Human Trafficking awareness month and TFRW will be making 300 first response backpacks for Traffick911 at our January state board meeting as a statewide service project. We encourage each club to donate items and then bring those items (or ask your District Director to deliver them) to the January board meeting where we will assemble the care packs.
Traffick911 provides 24/7 crisis response to law enforcement and first responders. An advocate is dispatched immediately to meet with the victim, accompany them to emergency medical treatment, ensure food, clothing, emergency shelter, and connection with any other support needed. In addition, each victim is provided a first response bag with these items.
Checks from your clubs and members to purchase items can be made out and mailed to TFRW by December 31.

Clubs in the Texas Federation of Republican Women serve their communities in a variety of ways that are not necessarily political. Those projects fall under the heading of “Caring for America,” and thousands of volunteer hours every quarter are dedicated to these projects.
