TFRW Blog

The honorable Judge Angela Williams serves as Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 of Williamson County, Texas. Born and raised in Texas, Judge Williams embraced the values of hard work, community, and resilience that helped shape her Texan identity. She and her husband, Gene Williams, have owned and operated a family business for the last 30 years.

In 2015 she fell in love with the political process and began her journey within the Republican Party. Understanding the ability to influence voters and motivate others to get involved allowed her to go from volunteer to elected official. As a Precinct Chair, she learned the value of grassroots organizations, leading her to work on President Trump’s campaign and the Republican Party of Texas.

Through this journey, she became a founding member of Leander Area Republican Women and continues to serve as the Americanism and Historian Chair. In 2022, she was one of the Tribute to Women recipients and received the TFRW Americanism Award on behalf of Leander Area Republican Women in 2023 at the TFRW Convention.

Judge Williams believes her duty as an elected official is to stand for the rights and laws that preserve justice and harmony in Texas while being vigilant and fair to act in the people’s best interests. She is passionate about serving the community through mentoring, supporting local schools in various ways, volunteering, serving on boards, participating in her local church, and many more worthwhile endeavors.

Angela and husband Gene have five daughters, one son, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. Family and community engagement drives her to be a key collaborator in achieving the goal of structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and flourish.
