TFRW Stands with President Trump in his Call to Build
A Safe, Strong and United America Where Americans Work Together!
(AUSTIN, TX) –
Karen Newton, president of the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW), issued the following statement supporting President Donald J. Trump’s State of the Union Address:
President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union Address was inspiring, uniting and motivating! Tonight, President Trump shared his pragmatic plan to build a safe, strong, proud America. The Texas Federation of Republican Women urges the citizens of this great land to unite behind President Trump and to help move our nation forward. Let’s continue to grow the economy and jobs, eliminating unwieldy regulations, take the fight to ISIS and other terrorists, while continuing the process of rebuilding our judicial system with judges who uphold the Constitution and to protect our citizens, of every background, color and creed.”
The Texas Federation of Republican Women, founded in 1955, has a statewide membership of 10,000 and over 160 constituent clubs. TFRW is the largest, most powerful women’s political organization in Texas and provides the avenue for women to influence policy, develop candidates, and elect the leaders of Texas.
