The Texas Federation of Republican Women is offering one-day Candidate Training Programs to Rio Grande Valley candidates and their volunteers. This will be an opportunity for new activists and candidates (men and women) to hear from people who have run for office or have consulted for or worked on campaigns. Expert trainers from Leadership Institute, Americans for Prosperity, the RNC and Project Red TX will provide candidates with the skills they need to win in November. Training will be provided on the following topics:

• Campaign Budgeting
• Fundraising
• Ethics
• Communication/Media Relations
• Policy Discussion/Messaging
• Campaign Strategy/Volunteer Recruitment & Voter Contact
• Campaign Apps

The training will be free to participants and lunch is included.
