Pat Hastings began her highly successful Federal Civil Service career as a Clerk Stenographer, GS-3, at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. She progressed rapidly during assignments in Dayton, Ohio; Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Washington, D.C. She retired as the Deputy Director of Personnel for the Department of the Interior with the rank of SES-4 with more than 30 years of service.

After retirement, she returned to San Antonio where she owned and operated several successful businesses and pursued her passion for photography, golf, travel, and genealogy. She has traveled to 48 states and 46 countries, written three books, and continues her research and plans to publish her fourth book in 2026. She graduated from the Masters Leadership Program and served on the THRU Project Board before departing on her bucket list trip, “A Year in the World.”

Pat has been an active member of the Bexar County Republican Women for more than 20 years, serving on the Board and several committees. She organized and co-hosted the first Election Integrity training event in Bexar County prior to the 2020 election and scheduled volunteer poll watchers for the Bexar County Republican Party prior to the 2024 election. She is an active member of Toni Anne Dashiell’s TAD Talks team.

She served as Logistics Chair for the 2013 TFRW Convention held in San Antonio and is serving as Logistics Chair for the 2025 TFRW Convention.

Pat is extremely proud of her son, Blake, and grandson, Sebastian, who reside nearby in San Antonio.
