Diane Dees is a leader in the Texas Federation of Republican Women. She is known to approach every challenge with determination. Her
professionalism attracts fellow team members and she consistently demonstrates confidence in completing projects and tasks effectively.
Diane developed an interest in politics in 1994 and later joined the Richardson Republican Women. She has participated in state and national campaigns including those of George Bush, Pete Sessions, Angie Chen Button, and other local elections.
Since 2005, Diane has attended Texas State Republican Conventions and the Republican National Convention in 2024. She has served as an Election Clerk for 15 years.
Diane co-chaired the TFRW Leadership Day in Allen, Texas, in 2020, and has served as Deputy President of Region IV since 2022. She chaired the VEP Volunteer Program in Dallas for several years. Diane is Past President and currently Fundraising Chair for the Richardson Republican Women. She has served on the Dallas County Council Board and in 2022, she received the Jan Patterson Lifetime Achievement Award.
Diane graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in Interior Design. She started her firm, D-Tree Designs, in 1982. She also owns a Shaklee Nutrition Business which she and her husband started in 1991.
Diane is a fifth-generation native Texan and an active member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). She is married to her husband Eddie, and together they have two adult children, Amanda and Eddie III. Diane and Eddie have been residents of Richardson since 1991.
