Jill Tate is a life-long republican casting her first vote in her kindergarten class for Ronald Reagan in 1980. She volunteered throughout high school for republican candidates and as a college sophomore, she served as a delegate to 1996 Republican National Convention.   While at Baylor, she served as youth coordinator for George Bush for Governor. She has worked for and volunteered on numerous campaigns both locally and nationally and has served as delegate to every Texas GOP Convention since she was 20. She has been an active member in several republican organizations throughout the state and has served on and chaired numerous committees within the party including platform, organization, and credentials, and is a precinct chair in Tarrant County.  She is a founding member of her TFRW club Texas Strong Republican Women, where she has served as VP of Campaigns, Programs, and currently as President. In 2017, she co-chaired the TFRW State Convention in Dallas and was a delegate to the NFRW Convention. She is currently serving as the Caring for America Chair for TFRW. She was a Tribute Women honoree in 2018, and is currently on the nominated slate to serve as VP of Fundraising for the TFRW board in 2020. In 2017, she was appointed by Gov. Abbott to serve on the Texas State School Safety Board.

Jill is an ambassador for Patriot Paws service dogs attending events on behalf of Patriot Paws giving presentations to raise funds, awareness, and inform the public about the important role that service dogs play in the lives of disabled veterans.  She also serves her community by serving as the VP of Volunteers at OC Taylor Elementary School PTA, as VP of Ways and Means for the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Council of PTAs, and as a long time volunteer for GRACE in Grapevine. Jill graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Real Estate and worked for a number of years in commercial real estate management and development.  She lives in Colleyville with her husband Fred, son Sawyer, and their 2 Labradors.
