PRESS RELEASE – September 16, 2018
(AUSTIN, TX) ‑ The Texas Federation of Republican Women is joining the National Federation of Republican Women to raise awareness about the issue of the despicable trafficking of human lives here in Texas and throughout the United States.
On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, TFRW clubs and their members across Texas will host a lunch or dinner in their region to educate their clubs about Human Trafficking and its impact on all of our communities.
These luncheons or dinners will educate and introduce an organization in their area to their members and attendees. The goal is to raise awareness while offering a volunteer opportunity in their community. TFRW members are encouraged to volunteer with these organizations who are a critical component in the continuing fight to stop human trafficking in Texas and the U.S.A.
The Texas Federation of Republican Women, founded in 1955, has a statewide membership of 10,000 and over 160 constituent clubs. TFRW is the largest, most powerful women’s political organization in Texas and provides the avenue for women to influence policy, develop candidates, and elect the leaders of Texas. We are a multi-generational, multicultural organization that provides the structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and flourish.
