Election Season is in Full Swing!
I am so excited to see all of you already working to Get Out the Vote this November. I see you walking, calling, texting, holding rallies and reaching voters to ensure a November win. Thank you for all your hard work so far… but we are far from done.

First, we cannot get out the vote without registering voters. We have one more month to register voters, so we need your help with VEP. See Jennifer Frederick’s article on how you can help. Just 30 minutes a day can make a huge difference. I try to call just 30 minutes a day, and I have made about 600 calls so far. It is so easy and we need all our members to be working those phones!

In addition, target your churches and community events to register voters. You would be amazed at the number of members at your local church who are not registered voters.

Second, we have three weekends of action coming up with Team Texas. Please plan to attend at least one, if not all, our work weekends. The areas we are working are on the verge of turning blue with Democrat money pouring in and we CAN NOT let that happen. We have a lot of fun, but get a lot done. I hope each of your clubs have had a chance to learn how to use the Abbott Impact App. This App is a game-changer for this election, and it is so easy to use. I hate wasting time, so I send texts while I’m sitting in the car line waiting to pick up my son from school. 10-15 minutes a day and I have already sent out over 2,600 texts and ID’d over 200 voters. You can do the same just waiting in the car line or the grocery store line!

I will be announcing some great incentives and prices for your hard work at the September 4th Quarter Board Meeting including a free registration to the TFRW Convention for the person who knocks on the most doors! I want to be sure and recognize all your hard work and say THANK YOU with some fun prizes.

The polls are close and Texas is now considered a toss up state. The future is in our hands, and I know TFRW will not let Texas turn blue. Remain vigilant, stay the course, and do not become complacent. Focus on the big picture!

Messaging is incredibly important in this election. Educating voters on policy is extremely important; there is a lot of misinformation out there and WE have the facts. So, if you’ve been sitting in your chair saying, “I need to get involved” or “why bother,” now is the time to get up and stand firmly committed. We can win this election, but everyone needs to BE IN IT to WIN IT!
