President’s Pen – October 2026
34 DAYS!
Just 34 days until the midterm elections. The history of Texas is riding on this election. Have you done everything possible to elect all our Republican candidates for our country, our state, and our communities?
We have 34 days to work to keep Texas, Texas! We still have weekends of action happening this month, and I encourage all our members to come out and walk with Team Texas. If we lose anyone on this ballot, Texas will never be the same.
On November 4th, we can rest and know that our victory was due to all our hard work! We did it two years ago, and we can do it again! Truth and what is right is on our side. Let’s make sure every Republican gets out and VOTES!
I see so many of you working the Abbott App, knocking doors, registering voters, texting and making phone calls! Clubs and members are working together to Keep Texas bright RED. Personal interaction will make the difference in this race.
To say thank you and recognize you for all your hard work and countless hours, we have come up with a few incentives and prizes. More information is in this newsletter.
Texas Election Network has several opportunities to learn about every aspect of the election process and information on their Zoom meetings are in this newsletter. I encourage you to volunteer to work elections. Whether a clerk, election judge, or poll watcher; there is no better way to ensure Election Integrity than to be part of the voting process.
Finally, I want to say a special CONGRATULATIONS to all our Tribute To Women Honorees. It was a spectacular event with a fun and insightful address from Congresswoman Kat Cammack. Our VP of Finance Kellye Duncan Garrett did an amazing job, and I cannot thank her and her committee enough for all their hard work.
I am overwhelmed at the surprise of being honored with a flag flown over the Capitol for our 250th Anniversary. You will never know how much it means to me. It brings tears to my eyes knowing how much you think of me to give me this special honor.
