President’s Message – August 2019
Convention is Almost Here!!!
We are less than two months away from the 32nd Biennial Texas Federation of Republican Women Convention, and I can feel the excitement in the air as you all are getting ready to book your rooms, become delegates, and attend this convention. The Convention Committee has been working non-stop over the past two years to make sure this convention is memorable!Of course, there are workshops, speakers, and meetings, but I want to attend because I never know what will happen and what I will get out of going to convention. There is something thrilling about being with so many like-minded Republican women who are working on different projects and discussing new ideas.
I look forward to catching up with my sisters across the State and meeting new members. I look forward to the opportunity to talk to our elected officials and statewide candidates. I look forward to visiting the vendors that will be in Galveston and sneaking out to take a walk on the beach. But, most of all, I look forward to how energized I will become at Convention and how I will bring this energy back with me to San Antonio and beyond!
I cannot wait to get to Galveston in October and share this event with the most amazing Republican Women in the Country, please do not miss this well-planned event!
