Convention 2018 Patron Clubs

The TFRW Convention
Committee met at
Moody Gardens Hotel and Wise RW
Convention Center on
May 24, 2018. We toured the
facilities and met with the Gold
Galveston Convention and Visitors
Bureau (GCVB). The facilities are
beautiful and are going to be so convenient
for the convention attendees. Austin RW

At this point, all of the subcommittee chair positions have Conner Harrington RW
been filled, and we have a great group of Republican
women who stepped up to do the job. We are so excited Cowtown RW
and are going to have a fun time planning a wonderful Georgetown Area RW
convention in Galveston!
RW of Wood County
Our theme for the convention is “It is Island Time Again!” A
logo has been designed compliments of the GCVB. The logo Village RW
was approval by the committee in September 2018. The
GCVB has a lot of resources available for the committee and
will be working closely with the Galveston RW to help out Silver
with various activities for the convention at no charge.

Committee chairs will work throughout the summer months
on their committee structure and activities. Canyon Lake RW

The Convention Committee will meet monthly on the first Dallas Star RW
Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Bay Oaks Country Club in
Houston. Thank-you to Debbie Roan, Convention Co-Chair, Fannin County RW
for coordinating the room and lunch for the meetings. The
first meeting was September 5, 2018. Lost Pines RW
We are going to stress that we are all going to work on
Mesquite RW
funding the convention and working with the Finance Chair.
Each of us can contact our local candidates, elected officials,
Metroplex RW
and TFRW clubs to promote
support for the various activities of the convention.
