Pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Observed annually on the first Monday in
September each year.
September 11 - Patriot Day
It is observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, in memory of the people killed in the September 11
attacks of 2001. Fly flag at half staff
September 17 - Constitution Day
Celebrates the ratification of the governing document of the United States.
September 17 - Citizenship Day
Commemorates the formation and signing of The Constitution of the United States on September 17, 1787.
September 21 - POW/MIA Recognition Day
Honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. Fly POW/MIA flag under the
American flag.
