Marie Maggio
Golden Triangle Republican Women
Marie Maggio is a wonderful example of leadership and devotion to America, TFRW, her local
TFRW Club, and the County, State, and National Republican Party.
Opening and staffing the County Republican Party Headquarters was her job for the 2016 Election. She spent many
hours making sure the office was staffed, campaign signs were distributed, and phone lines were in full operation.
In October, she worked with her County Chair in planning and organizing workers to make the county’s Freedom
Fest a success.
As a loyal TFRW attendee at all quarterly meetings since 2012, Marie has served as Literacy Chair from 2012 to
the present. As the TFRW Literacy Chair in 2013, she was instrumental in leading TFRW Clubs in a very successful
book drive for the schools and libraries in the small town of West, Texas, after the tragic explosion that was
very destructive. Her leadership includes working hard to increase the Greater Houston Council’s membership
participation to 99%. She has served her local club Golden Triangle RW for fifteen years, as President, Membership
Chairman, Legislative Chairman, and Bylaws Chairman. Marie is currently the 2018-2019 TFRW Secretary.
Jody Deller
Kaufman County Republican Women
“The Texas Federation of Republican Women provides the avenue for women to influence
policy, develop candidates, and elect leaders in Texas, and nationally, as well. We provide the
structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and flourish.”
Jody Deller of Kaufman County Republican Women has taken all of this to heart and spirit, and placed it into action
throughout the years. She has been actively involved as a political activist in her Republican Women’s club for
almost twenty years, serving for three terms in the essential positions of Vice-President of Publicity and President.
She served as an Election Judge in many elections and elected as Precinct Chair for five terms in her county. She has
worked on numerous campaigns, not only in her own county, but also state and national elections—working for the
re-election of President George W. Bush.
She has been honored twice by her club as their Tribute to Women Honoree; these nominations span the distance
of ten years apart, so she is a tireless and passionate worker for our cause. She chaired two sub-committees in
her service to the TFRW Board of Directors and has worked on the TFRW Conventions, as well as the Republican
Party Conventions, plus being elected as a delegate to these conventions for almost
sixteen years.
In the meantime, she made history in her county when she was elected the first
woman ever as County Chairman.
Jody is a woman of great heart, volunteering and serving on the boards of four civic
organizations in her community—the latest of which is First Vice-President for the
2017-2018 Quilt Guild.
