                              Debra Coffey

                             Cowtown Republican Women

The familiar adage, “If you want something done right, give the job to a busy person” fits
Debra Coffey to perfection. This “10 Outstanding” woman embodies these qualities: execution
of any plan in precise detail, exceptional professionalism and preparedness, and excellent
        communication ability.

When her older sister enlisted her to volunteer at county Republican headquarters for a school project regarding
the George H. W. Bush campaign for U.S. Senator in 1970, she began her political path.
She has been a Republican Woman for over twenty-five years, serving locally as an officer and multiple committee
chairs, also serving on the 2011 TFRW Convention Committee.

Debra joined the TFRW Board as Marketing Chair in 2006, developing a brochure to encourage membership as
well as highlight our mission and purpose. Since then, she has served as District Director Coordinator (two terms),
First Vice President (two terms), and now as Patron Co-Chair. During this time, she has supported TFRW as a
Patron and attended every TFRW convention. From first-hand experience, her special events were remarkable! Her
participation in NFRW has also been exceptional.

Debra’s political involvement in the Republican Party has been intense since 1995. She has had significant roles in
her county, attended state conventions, and in 2016, was selected as a Presidential Elector from Congressional
        District 12.

Over the years, she has facilitated and made presentations encouraging Republican Women to run for office. All of
this has been done while she has served as Vice-President of Governmental Affairs for Smart Start, Inc. focusing on
legislative efforts in state government and Congress.

She and her husband Judge Daryl Coffey make Fort Worth their home, and she is a member of Cowtown
        Republican Women.
