It’s that Time of the Year Again

The holidays bring family and friends together and before we know it,
it’s December 31st! Be sure and submit your club officers and required
committee chairs to the TFRW office before January 1, 2019, as part of the
qualification for the John Goodwin Tower Award (CF-3).

While you are completing that requirement, why not go ahead and send in
your first installment of your membership (and service charge) for 2019. If
this is submitted by January 15, 2019, you receive bonus points. Check out
CF-2 and CF-1B.

All requirements for the John Goodwin Tower Awards can be found on the
TFRW website. Take a few minutes to do an end-of-year check of your club’s
status.

Christmas for a Soldier

Members of the Conner Harrington Republican
Woman of Plano, Texas, sat down one day in July
to write Christmas Blessings and personal notes
in 232 Christmas cards for our Troops overseas. To
accompany these cards, eight boxes of donated

snacks containing many troop favorites were
wrapped up with love and care. The CHRW
Caring for America Chair LaVeta Sealy boxed them all up

and mailed them to Hugs for Soldiers to ensure they know
that they are thought of at this special time of year.
