Calling all Republican
Women Leaders!

TFRW needs YOU! Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about
convention and the 2020-2021 Board of Directors. At the risk of sounding TFRW’s 2019 Signature
cliché, 2020 may be the most important Presidential election in Texas Attire
history. Our state is truly going to be critical for a Republican victory, and
TFRW will have to lead that charge.

I meet incredible, smart, talented women every day, and I hate how
often I hear comments like, “I could never do what you all do.” Nonsense!
I recently sat in on a call with U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn [R-TN], and
she said something I will never forget… she said, “If you can be a [Girl
Scout] Cookie Mom, you can do anything!” And she was right!

Whether you’re new to
“If you can be a [Girl Scout] Cookie politics or have been
Mom, you can do anything!” involved forever, you have
a unique set of gifts and
talents, and I would like you to consider running for a leadership position
within TFRW. District Directors are elected by the delegates within their
district at the biennial convention, and if you’ve already served on the
Board for a year, then I urge you to run for an elected position on the

And to give you a taste of life on the Executive Committee, Legislative
Day is coming up April 24-26, 2019. I hope everyone is planning to join
the fun at Belles ‘N Boots on Wednesday, April 24th; Legislative Day
on Thursday, April 25th; and the Board of Directors meeting on Friday,
April 26th. Don’t forget the Golden Cupcake at the Lege Day luncheon!
Two lucky ladies will walk away with gorgeous jewelry for the price of a
cupcake, courtesy of Daryl Reynolds, Deputy President Region III.
