Exciting Social Events

Thank you for making “Margaritas with Señoritas” such a big success! I am overwhelmed by the encouraging
comments I have received but it wouldn’t have been possible without your attendance, our generous sponsors,
and the TFRW Special Events Committee. I also want to give Super Kudos to Karen Newton and Wendy Osborn
who both went beyond the call of duty to make our party the perfect
kick-off event for convention.

Sunset Dinner Cruise and Bat Tour

Plan now to attend the July Board of Directors meetings on
July 20th and 21st. Our special event will be a Sunset Dinner Cruise
and Bat Tour on beautiful Lady Bird Lake (formally Town Lake) the
evening of July 20th. The dinner cruise is included with your meeting
registration as a thank you from TFRW, and unlimited drinks are
available in the form of a wristband for just $15.00 per person. Patrons
pay a reduced price of just $10.00 per person. Space is limited.

NFRW Fall Board Meeting

NFRW’s next upcoming meeting is September 14-15 in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Come join us and find out
what we can do and what’s going on nationwide. It’s always interesting hearing different perspectives from around
our great country.

If you have the opportunity, come a day early. Enjoy exploring a museum you haven’t seen yet, or tour an historic
site that’s on your “bucket list.” There are so many wonderful museums, restaurants, historical homes, and also,
Mount Vernon is close by. If you have time, meet with your elected senator or congressman; put a face with your
name. We need to keep them connected with their constituents.
