Texas Federation of Republican Women State Scholarship
REQUIREMENT: A woman with U.S. citizenship, resident of Texas for at least two(2) years, and attending an institution of higher learning.
REQUIREMENT: Registered to vote.
REQUIREMENT: Completion of 12 hours of study at the undergraduate level.
REQUIREMENT: A GPA of 2.5 or 75%.
REQUIREMENT: An essay by the applicant stating why they are seeking the TFRW Scholarship and how they plan to demonstrate future Republican commitment.
REQUIREMENT: Three (3) letters of recommendation from someone other than a family member stating applicant’s interest in Republican activism and a statement of moral and ethical standing as it relates to the applicant’s character.
· One letter from a professor.
· One letter from a recognized Republican with title included who
can attest to the applicant’s Republican activity.
· One letter from an individual of choice who can attest to the
applicant’s character.
