TFRW State Scholarship Form

Debra Hadfield, Chairman

The Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) is dedicated to the development and nurturing of our youth.  We recognize that they will be our local, state and national leaders of tomorrow, and we strive to give them the message that “Republican Women Care.”  If we invite them to “sit in our wagon,” we believe that they will push our wagon in the future.

The TFRW State Scholarship Award program is designed to biennially award a scholarship to a student(s) who plans to serve our Republican philosophy.  The amount of the award will be determined by the funding of the program, and all federated units are invited to participate.

The TFRW Award application and requirement form will be published in a future issue of the President’s newsletter and can be found on TFRW’s web site.  Every federated unit will be invited to nominate young women in their area.  The TFRW Scholarship Committee will review all applications and announce the winner(s) at TFRW’s State Convention.

The John Goodwin Tower Award of Excellence application form has designated 25 points to all units that contribute to the TFRW State Scholarship Award Fund.  Checks should be made out to “TFRW Scholarship Fund” and sent to TFRW Headquarters, 900 Congress, Suite 300, Austin, Texas  78701, Attention:  Nancy Mayer

Our best investment in the future is to help prepare our youth to lead the way.
