2010 Monthly Regional Conference Calls

TFRW is proud to offer monthly conference calls for our Local Clubs and Members. Each month calls are available to distribute information about topics of interest to our Officers and Board Members both on the State and Local Level.

Participants are Regional Deputy Presidents, their coordinating District Directors and Local Club Officers and Members from their Regions. Programs are presented by TFRW Officers, Committee Chairs and others.

Each TFRW Region is assigned a particular day to participate in the call. However, if your Region has been assigned a day that you are unable to attend you may choose to attend another Region’s call as the same program is presented to each Region.

The phone number and access code for each call is sent before the day of the call by e-mail to all TFRW Officers, Deputy Presidents, District Directors, and Local Club Presidents. The Local Club Presidents may share the call information with any of their Officers or Members. Each call is assigned the same phone number and conference access code.

Tips for a more successful conference call experience:

• Be on TIME---the conference meeting will begin three minutes after the scheduled time to allow everyone to be on and ready.
• You must call in for the call; you will not automatically be called
• You are asked to identify yourself when you join a call. Do so quickly as there are many participants doing the same thing.
• You are asked to press *6 when you come onto the call. This mutes you so that others can hear the presentations and not the noises that may be in your house. There will be times for questions and comments so to re-join and ask a question or make a comment at that time you may *6 again to be audible on the call.
• If you choose to question or comment, please say your name and your club’s name so the rest of the listeners will know who you are.
