General Election Competition
Sponsored by Lt. Gov. Dewhurst

Once again, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst
has agreed to sponsor a TFRW competition, this time
focusing on the General Election. As we all know, this
will be one of the most important elections of our
lifetime and we must do all we can to get Republicans to
the polls and produce WINS in November for our local,
state and national candidates.
Purpose of this
competition: To encourage, motivate and reward clubs for
members’ campaign volunteer hours to produce victory for
Republicans in the 2008 General Election.
Campaign
Activities competition would be comprised of five
levels, as of October 31, 2008:

Small clubs
(10-30 members)
-
Medium clubs
(31-60 members)
-
Large clubs
(61-100 members)
-
Jumbo clubs
(101-200 members)
-
Super Jumbo clubs
(201+ members)
Monetary winning
levels would be as follows:
-
Super Jumbo Clubs: 1st place $1750, 2nd place $1500, 3rd place $1250

Jumbo Clubs: 1st place $1500, 2nd
place $1250, 3rd place $1000
-
Large Clubs: 1st place $1250, 2nd
place $1000, 3rd place $750
-
Medium
Clubs: 1st place $1000, 2nd
place $750, 3rd place $500
-
Small Clubs: 1st place $750,
2nd place $500,
3rd place $250
Total donation
from Lt. Gov. Dewhurst: $15,000.00
Timeline:

The Competition
will begin April 9, 2008. Hours worked on or after
that date will count toward the club total.

The Competition
will end November 5, 2008, the day after General
Election. Hours after that date will not count
toward the club total.

The Competition
reports must be submitted to the TFRW headquarters
in Austin by November 30, 2008.

The Competition
Award will be presented on Legislative Day 2009.
