GREAT JOB! Let’s follow the lead of WCRW and have each of our members invite someone to join. If we all did that, then not only would our Clubs double in size, so would TFRW. And if the Texas Federation of RW doubles in size, then it will be the largest political women’s organization in the nation (California would take our place as second-largest!). Remember that MEMBERS = VOTES!
TFRW Local Clubs are investing in their growth. It was a delight this month to
speak to the Fayette Co. RW and the Brush Country RW. Their enthusiasm is
contagious and we can look for great things to be happening with them! Why?
Because they have decided that for their Clubs…
Membership is a Lifestyle, not an Event!

Have
you heard that you can impact your Club’s Membership by using a few of these
TIPS?
(My plan was to include the names of members and clubs with each idea, but “great minds think alike” and quite quite a few members submitted the same ideas. Goes to show the ideas and tips work! Check out next month for more tips.)
♦Sponsor the dues of a Young Republican (they will invite their friends)
♦Join the Chamber of Commerce, then leave brochures for their mail-outs
♦Include a flyer/brochure in New Residents mail-outs or Welcome Wagon
♦Talk to your neighbors about joining
♦Keep membership applications in your purse to use on the spot
♦Get the voters list from your County Chairman, then visit or call the women on the list.
♦Have a booth at a local event and sell merchandise, register voters and recruit new members. Make sure you have have a sign or banner identifying your club.
♦Mail “We Miss You” letters to members who haven’t renewed and to previous members. Sometimes all they they need is a reminder. The club who submitted this idea said they had over a dozen members renew the week after after mailing the “We Miss You” letter. Don’t forget to include a completed renewal form for each recipient, make it make it easy for them to renew.

will grow the Texas Federation of Republican Women because for all of us…
