CLUB LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

Wow, what a success!  

Our Club Leadership Seminar was filled with exciting speakers and a lot of great information.   We had almost three hundred attendees at the Seminar.   We hope all the information you learned will help you in working with your club to make it stronger and more successful.   

We had wonderful responses in our networking session.   Thanks so much to Judy Smith, Mary Mayo, and Mona Blocker Garcia for their help in the networking session.   It is so amazing how much we can learn from each other when we have the opportunity to share our thoughts.   Also, thanks to Shannon Reeves, Director of State and Local Party Development for the Republican National Committee, who shared his conservative message of personal responsibility with us and inspired us so much.
  

Our workshops were filled with useful information to take back to the clubs.   Thanks to Toni Anne Dashiell, Melinda Fredricks, Tomi Porterfield, Betty Hill, Hazel Roman, ‘Borah Van Dormolen, Rebecca Bradford, and Jo Konen for all their hard work in making the workshops such a success.   We really appreciate your time and effort in making this work so well.   The attendees gave us positive feedback about how much they learned from the seminar.  

Our speaker at lunch was Tim O’Hare, Mayor Pro Tem of Farmers Branch who shared with us why and how he has worked to see that Farmers Branch follows the wishes of its citizens and how to get discussions about specific issues started in our areas.  

After lunch, Tim Schultz, Director of Government Relations for U.S. English, gave us pointers on how to work with our legislators to pass laws making English our official language.
 

We hope that all the information you gathered at the seminar will help in building your club, inspire your members to work harder, and reach our ultimate goal of getting Republicans elected.
