As anyone who has ever been a member of a Republican Women’s club knows, Republican Women really do care about each other! Lasting and important friendships are formed not only within our local clubs, but also with women from clubs around our state.
TFRW wants to acknowledge and celebrate the milestone events in our members’ lives, cheer and comfort those who are experiencing a major illness or hospitalization, and sympathize with those who have lost a loved one. Please tell us about these important events so that a card to applaud the happy times, or encourage during the difficult times, and most especially to sympathize during the sad times may be sent.
In the first six weeks of 2008, 16 cards were sent: 9 sympathy cards, 3 cards of encouragement, 3 congratulatory cards, (3 brand new Republicans were born!), and 1 birthday card to Linden Anderson of New Braunfels Republican Women on her 100th birthday. (Now that’s a milestone event!)
