Campaign Activities

2008 - 2009

Welcome and New Years greetings to new officers and Campaign Activities Chairmen!  LADIES, START YOUR ENGINES.   We are entering the most challenging and exciting election cycle that most of us have ever seen, and we have our work cut out for us.  The Republican Party knows that we are the hardest working and most organized volunteers in our areas, so we must be ready and able to help elect Republicans, which is our Main Mission.

It is also time to begin the process of rewarding your for your work.  Click here for the Campaign Activities form for clubs and individuals.   TFRW earned FIRST PLACE at the 2005 and 2007 NFRW Conventions by reporting more hours than any other state, and we will win again, with your reports. These forms are also available online at www.tfrw.org.

Here is a short “To Do” list to help you get started:

  1. Email your name and contact information to me at carhanle@aol.com.

  1. Educate your members about the quarterly reporting system and encourage them to carry a notebook for keeping track of hours.  Remind them at every meeting to report their hours to you.  Print the Policy for Counting Campaign Hours in your newsletters and directories, so that everyone understands the TFRW Policy.

  1. Build a Team.  Form a committee for help with reporting, organizing and responding to candidate needs.  Choose an assistant to speak at meetings in your absence.

  1. Encourage your members to attend their precinct conventions following the Primary.  This is the first step to becoming a delegate to the RPT State Convention.

  1. Make a list with contact information for all Republican candidates in your area, and give them your contact info as well.  They need to know that we are ready to help.

I look forward to getting to know you all and working together to ELECT REPUBLICANS!  Your enthusiasm and motivation are contagious, and this is a MIGHTY CAUSE.

Please call anytime that you have questions or concerns, and I welcome your suggestions and ideas, as we work toward our common goals.
