Dear Leaders:

First, let me congratulate those of you that have been elected to a leadership position in your club or on the TFRW Board of Directors.  We are a team, building a future together.  I thank you for your support.

I imagine a house being built.  Our foundation has been laid, the framing up, the plumbing and electrical are finished and we are continuing to complete a fabulous home.  Building doesn’t happen over night and there are continuous challenges on the way.  Some might be small others seem unbearable.

As a team, we are able to overcome most challenges in front of us.  Our next biggest challenge is the 2008 elections.  As I go across Texas, I repeat, we have great candidates for the Courthouse to the White House.  We, as leaders, must encourage our members to become educated on each candidate then stand behind the one that best represents us.  If our candidate does NOT become the nominee then we have 3, yes 3, DAYS to “GET OVER IT” and stand united behind the nominee.

Victory will come with hard work from all of us.  To help I have planned to use a few tools new to most of us at TFRW.  The first will be a monthly regional phone conference.  You will only have one conference call a month to participate in with TFRW.  On the next page I will give you the details on the conference call.

Another tool will be a monthly e-newsletter.  You must get your current e-mail address to headquarters to receive this e-newsletter.  This e-newsletter will allow you to forward important information to the appropriate vice president, chairman, members or whom ever you feel will benefit from the information.

Our 9th Biennial Club Leadership Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2008 in San Antonio.  Please copy the enclosed form to take to your club meeting.  This is another way TFRW members can network, learn and build camaraderie among your club members and other TFRW members.

If you plan on attending the Club Leadership Workshop please consider attending the fundraiser February 1, 2008 at the same location in San Antonio at 6:00pm.  Jo Ann Davidson, Co-Chairman of RNC, (Republican National Committee), will be our guest speaker.  She is a dynamite lady you don’t want to miss. (See flyer for details).

Ladies, as we well know knowledge is powerful.  This President’s Newsletter is filled with so much information; please take the time to read each page.  You the leaders of our grassroots will make things happen.  Use our Vice Presidents, our Special Committee Chairman, our District Directors and our Deputy Presidents; use them to build your team.  We are all here to build a masterpiece that will lead to victory.
