Below is the information regarding our trip to Washington, D.C. and the extension trip to Annapolis, Frederick, and Alexandria in April 2008. We wanted you to be aware that Reagan National Airport would be the closest when making your air reservations. Also, if you wish to come to DC earlier than April 21st, we can arrange to have your room reserved at the hotel if you wish. We will be staying at the Westin Washington, D.C., City Center, 1400 M Street NW. Please complete your registration form and return it as soon as possible. We look forward to the trip!

This portion of the week will take us to Annapolis and Frederick, Maryland as you are lead through the pages of history. Experience the scenic beauty on Chesapeake Bay and the beautiful rolling hills of Maryland. Enjoy the final night in charming Alexandria, Virginia. |

Highlights of the additional three night tour include: « Private dinner cruise on the Chesapeake Bay « Tour the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis scheduled to include viewing the Noon Meal Formation as the Brigade forms for uniform inspection before lunch. The history of the Academy has often reflected the history of the United States itself. « See the Maryland State House - the first peacetime capitol of the United States and the only state house ever to have served as the nation's capitol « Tour the home of William Paca, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, for a glimpse of life during Annapolis’s “Golden Age” « Travel to Frederick – long an important crossroads in our country’s history – to tour Frederick’s Historic District and the National Civil War Medical Museum « Relaxed gourmet dinner at one of the Frederick area’s fine restaurants « Covered bridge or Civil War Battlefield tour « Travel to Alexandria, nationally recognized for its abundance of 18th- and 19th-century architecture, in time for a final dinner with the group.
